Ganoderma lucidum - Reishi Mushroom
Our Ganoderma lucidum is farmed "Red Reishi" grown right here in Taiwan. Red reishi is considered by many to be one of the best and is the industry standard. Because they are farmed, they are given the best possible growth conditions and thus the weight to volume ration between farm grown Ganoderma lucidum and wild harvested Ganoderma multipileum is quite different, with the wild type being far more dense and heavy.

Ganoderma multipileum - Ling Zhi
Our wild reishi mushrooms, G. multipileum come from clean mountain areas and are wild harvested from trees. These are not farmed in bags or with saw dust, these are grown the hard way out in nature. All mushrooms are picked while alive and white. Our processing is carried out by first cleaning of any debris, then freezing to kill any possible organisms on the mushroom. After freezing for about 1-2 weeks, the whole conks are then dried in our dehydration machines until they are fully dried, at which time they are packed into bags for storage.
