Java Olive Usage Information

In Terrariums: The fruit husk adds a unique rounded curvature to the theme. Its thick woody shell ensures that it will last a good few years even in wet terraria.

In Vivariums: The perfect hideout for shy animals. An excellent "cave" type structure when turned upside down.

In Aquariums: Like with vivariums, this acts as a great hide for shy fish. It can be used as a place for breeding or just relaxing away from the community. Very suitable for black water tanks and other tanks where tannins are useful.

General Appearance: These are medium sized bowl like structures with nearly 1cm thick walls. The shapes will vary slightly but they are generally are around the size of a tennis ball to a soft ball. The outer color dries to a dark brown with slight reddish-yellow hues.

Long Term: The thick woody walls ensure a long lasting structure. Almost as long lasting as similar sized wood.

These fruit often grow in clusters of 1-5 fruits. We cut each fruit individually. If you prefer full clusters, we can leave them intact. Pricing will remain the same, per fruit. A cluster of 5 fruits will be quoted as x5.
