Roselle is a tropical annual shrub from Africa. Used primarily as a food and as a fiber source for textiles. Roselle are short day plants and are triggered to flower when the days start shortening. In the northern hemisphere calyx harvesting takes place from September through December, depending on the variety. Please contact us for the current year’s crop plan as we grow various varieties including various red types, white, green and bi colored types (calyx).
